Hi Bula Simhadri, Regarding your concern, I'd like to inform that researches do not rest till they come out with new solutions and cures for diabetes. Many clinical trials (1) have sustained the role of certain herbs and drugs to lower blood sugar. However, the cure of diabetes should be defined related to its types. So, recently it has been found various ways to cure type 1 diabetes. Current studies are focusing on replacing the islet cells (2) and also suppressing the patient's immune system (3). Meanwhile to cure type 2 diabetes, the researches are taking a new direction: implementing the new type 2 diabetes genes to develop new alternative drug therapies.
