by K S R GOPAL

QUESTION: Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings

I am a border case with Blood Sugar levels always 105-110 Fasting and 120-138 Post lunch.I dont take any medicine.

Please suggest how to control and bring the Fasting Sugar levels to below 100 by natural means

Best Regards

ANSWER: Hi Gopal,

If your doctor has confirmed that you have borderline diabetes (pre-diabetes); then you can bring your blood sugar back to normal (ideal) levels.

However, what I see from your glucose readings, they are slightly elevated, especially after meal times.

Therefore, if you try to change your meal menus, it could be a perfect start of you battle against pre-diabetes.

Next, try to increase your physical activity (at least walking or jogging for 30 minutes each day) in order to enhance the sensitivity of the insulin your body produces (but it is not well working).

Avoiding bad lifestyle habits (such as alcohol, smoking, drugs, etc) is another natural step of lowering your borderline glucose levels naturally.

Actually, you can follow all the advices and natural steps given to diabetics to control their diabetes. In your case, it could be easier to bring down your blood sugar back to normal levels again, much more easier and in shorter time than diabetics do.

To me, you do not need diabetes medications, unless your doctor has noticed any condition in you that I am not aware of.

At the end, please take my advices as a useful tool and not as confirmed medical advice because I do not know your entire medical history to judge better. My suggestions are based on the information you provided.

All the best!

Dr.Alba
